How it works

  1. Step 1

    Add your resume

Upload a PDF or paste the text. It is read to run the comparison and not kept.

  2. Step 2

    Paste the job posting

Use the full description, including the requirements. Short snippets give little to compare.

  3. Step 3

    Read the gaps

See the terms the posting leans on most, and which your resume already uses.

Common questions

How does the comparison work?

It finds the words and phrases a posting repeats, drops filler such as "team" and "experience", then checks which of them appear in your resume. Terms a posting repeats count for more. The same inputs always give the same result.

Does it use AI?

No. It is a fixed set of rules, and nothing you add is sent to an AI service. In Resumeaze, the match for a saved job also reads the meaning of your experience, not only the words.

Is a high percentage a good sign?

It means your wording lines up with the posting. It does not say you can do the job, and a low number can simply mean you describe the same skill in other words.

Should I add every missing term?

No. Add a term only if it is true for you. Putting skills you do not have on a resume tends to show up in the interview.

Is my resume stored?

No. The file or text is read to run the comparison and dropped when the result is sent back.
