Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Resumeaze (“we”, “us”) for your use of Resumeaze. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Resumeaze. You must be at least 16 years old.

2. The service

Resumeaze helps you with your job search: building resumes, writing cover letters, practising interviews, following companies and tracking applications, using AI tools. Features and limits depend on your plan and can change over time. We may add, change or remove features, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter to paying customers.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
  • One person, one account. Free allowances and plan limits are per person. Creating several accounts, including with email aliases, to get around limits is not allowed, and we may merge, restrict or close those accounts.
  • Do not share your account or sell access to it.

4. Your content

  • You own what you put into Resumeaze: your resumes, letters, notes and other content.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display it, including sending it to the AI and speech services described in our Privacy Policy, only so we can run the service for you.
  • You own the text the AI produces for you, as far as the law allows. AI output may be similar to what others receive, and may be wrong. You are responsible for checking it and for what you send to employers. Make sure everything on your resume is true.
  • You promise you have the right to the content you add and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
  • If you turn on a public profile, you choose what it shows, and it can be seen by anyone with the link.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to create harmful, illegal, explicit, deceptive or fraudulent content, including false credentials or fake employment history;
  • scrape, bot or automate access, or put an unreasonable load on the service;
  • try to break, probe or get around our security, limits or billing;
  • reverse engineer the service, or resell it without our written permission;
  • use voice features to record or impersonate other people without their consent;
  • use the service in a way that breaks the law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without notice where the breach is serious.

6. Plans, billing and cancelling

  • Free plan: comes with limits on how much you can use each feature.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You authorise us, through our payment provider Dodo Payments, to charge your payment method each period.
  • The 7-Day Pass and other one-time purchases are paid once and do not renew.
  • Cancelling: use Manage billing in Settings at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except as set out in section 7.
  • Prices and taxes: prices may include or add tax where required. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before then.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may end your paid access.

7. Refunds

  • Subscriptions: we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. Ask in Settings, under your plan, within 7 days of your latest payment. We look at each request, including how the plan was used. If the service was used heavily in that time, we may decline the request and will tell you why.
  • If we approve a refund, it goes back to your original payment method and your paid access ends.
  • One-time purchases such as the 7-Day Pass are not refundable once you have used them.
  • Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have by law where you live.
  • Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We would rather fix it.

8. Our rights

Resumeaze, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. Templates and other materials we provide are for your own job applications.

9. Copyright and takedown

We respect copyright and expect you to. If you believe content on Resumeaze, such as a public profile or an uploaded photo, infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:

  • the work you say was infringed, and where on Resumeaze the content is (a link is best);
  • your name, address, phone number and email;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable access to content that is the subject of a valid notice and tell the person who posted it. If you posted content that was removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address with your name, contact details, a description of the content and where it was, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification. We may restore it unless the person who sent the notice tells us they have started court action. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Resumeaze and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if we stop offering the service; if we end a paid plan without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period. After closing, your content is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes, so export it first.

11. No guarantee of results

Resumeaze is a tool. We cannot promise interviews, offers or any outcome in your job search, and AI output can be inaccurate. We cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors.

12. Liability

  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost opportunities, income or data.
  • Our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, email you or show a notice in the app. If you keep using Resumeaze after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not, you can close your account.

14. General

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given it up. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
